Housing Providers: Updated Denial Process

We have updated guidance for denial procedures in HMIS. We appreciate everyone’s attention to the previous guidance not to add denials to the Community Queue. After some recent updates to our internal process, we are going back to the original process for denials: Send denied referrals back to the Community Queue (CQ) in HMIS at the time of denial. 

There will be an option to choose 'yes' after you save the denial in HMIS (screenshot below). If you have questions or are unsure of a particular household’s CQ destination, please email hmishelp@mdhi.org.
